Concrete is unforgiving work. You get one go at it, the weather has an opinion, and everything you did wrong shows up two winters later. That is why so much of what we care about is the part nobody sees: the base, the compaction, the drainage, the joints.
We would rather talk you out of a job than do one that will not last. If your driveway has another five good years in it, we will say so. If a resurface is going to fail because the base underneath moved, we will say that too, even though the resurface is the easier sale.
How we work
We come and look
Photographs hide slope, drainage and access. We would rather stand on it.
You get a number in writing
Not a range that moves once the trucks are booked.
The base gets done properly
Stripped, based, compacted in lifts. It is the least visible part and the only part that decides how long it lasts.
We are there for the inspection
Scheduling it is not the same as standing there for it.
