What we do

Shop & Garage Slabs in Kalispell

Shop floors, garage slabs and pole-building pads, including in-floor heat.

A newly built charcoal metal shop building with roll-up doors and a fresh concrete apron on a rural Montana property.

A shop floor takes loads a house slab never sees: a hoist, a loaded trailer, a skid steer turning in one spot. The section and the reinforcement get sized for that rather than for a garage.

If you are putting in-floor heat down, the tubing goes in before the pour and the tie-down and the pressure test happen before anybody places concrete. We coordinate that with your plumber rather than pouring around a problem.

Vapour barrier under everything that will ever be heated or finished. It is a cheap thing to skip and an expensive thing to have skipped.

Thickness
5" to 8" depending on what drives on it
In-floor heat
Tubing tied and pressure tested before the pour
Vapour barrier
10 mil under any heated or finished slab
Finish
Hard trowel, or broom where it needs grip
