Not everything cracked needs tearing out, and not everything that looks fine is worth resurfacing. The difference is usually whether the base is still good.
Hairline cracks in an otherwise flat, well-drained slab are normal and can be sealed. A slab that has settled, heaved, or is holding water is telling you the base failed, and anything poured on top of it will fail the same way.
We will look at it and tell you which one you have, including when the answer is that it will last another five years and you should spend the money elsewhere.
