Houses, additions and everything under them

Heath builds houses as well as commercial, and pours the concrete himself either way. A remodel dies on decisions and money rather than on structure, so this side of the business is run around keeping those two straight.

What we build

Custom homes
From the dirt up. Excavation, footings, formed walls, slab, framing, and the general contracting that keeps twenty trades pointed the same way.
Additions and remodels
Tying new structure into old, which is the part that goes wrong. The roofline, the footing depth and the floor height all have to agree with a building somebody has already lived in for thirty years.
Garages, shops and barns
Slab, structure and doors. In-floor heat if you want to work out there in February, which in this valley you do.
Driveways, patios and flatwork
Broom, hard trowel, exposed aggregate or stamped. Jointed before it cracks where it wants to, and based properly so it is still flat after a few winters.
Foundations for somebody else's build
If you have a builder and need the concrete done right, that is a job on its own and he takes it.

How a house job runs

The building is the easy half. What sinks a remodel is a decision nobody made and an allowance nobody watched.

You get a number in writing
Not a range that moves once the trucks are booked.
Selections have dates on them
Every choice you owe has a deadline worked back from lead time and install date, so a countertop decision in March does not stop the job in June.
Allowances are tracked as you spend them
You find out you are over at the moment of the decision, not at closeout.
Draw packages are assembled for you
If the bank is funding it, the lines, photographs, waivers and inspection cards go over as one package rather than as six emails.

Custom home

Walls standing and trusses set on a new build. Same crew that poured the footings under it.

Flathead Valley
A finished broom-textured concrete driveway with crisp saw-cut control joints running toward a garage.Finished

Driveway and approach

Broom finish, joints cut before it cracked where it wanted to, and a clean edge that still looks like an edge after a winter.

Flathead Valley
A finished stamped and coloured concrete patio in an ashlar slate pattern with a clean border band, lake and mountains beyond.Finished

Stamped patio

Ashlar slate pattern with a clean border band. Decorative work is the same job as a driveway with less room for error.
